WebAn education, health and care plan (EHCP) is a legally binding document that: describes all of the special education, health and care needs of the child or young person which relate to their disability. sets out all of the extra help and support they will need to overcome barriers to learning. WebIt is strongly recommended that you visit any new education setting before telling us which one you would prefer for your child. It is suggested that you speak with the Special Needs Co-ordinator (or the person who does that role) of that education setting to talk about your child / young person’s needs and ideally take a copy of the draft EHC Plan with you.
